Wednesday night at the beautifully retro themed Avalon Restaurant in Katoomba. We enjoyed a lovely dinner with PFLAG sponsors The Three Sisters Social Group. Look on their website for what’s happening in the Blue Mountains on the Queens Birthday weekend this year.

From Ruth. Our PFLAG Mardi Princesses

Photo of our wonderful PFLAG members Mollie and Pamela in the shining lights of the Mardi Gras parade. This year PFLAG had quite a long wait in the marshalling area but it was all worth that wait once we entered the parade. The response from the crowd was overwhelmingly positive. Many many people calling out Thankyou and incredible applause for PFLAG. There was much comradeship amongst PFLAG entrants. Much thanks to Judy for her organisational skills , to Geoff for his Ute and Geoff for his marshalling abilities. Thankyou to Narelle for braving her 18th Mardi Gras Parade and a Thankyou to our Natalie.

Thanks to all our PFLAG participants, you made this 40th anniversary an incredibly happy experience.

Enjoyed a nice lunch yesterday with the Three Sisters Social Group at Wentworth Falls Bowling Club. The Three Sisters hold monthly lunches and dinners for anyone who enjoys some good company. Every function is a fundraiser. There is a summertime disco this Saturday evening at Blackheath Community Centre. It should be a fun evening. See the the website for details. www.threesisiterssocial.
